Why did you want to be involved in the YAL project as YAB?

I believe in the potential of young people to bring about the change our communities need. The funding and resources provided by YAL are essential for supporting these youth-led initiatives and making that change possible. Additionally, being a member of the Youth Advisory Board is an opportunity for me to contribute to a cause I care deeply about, while also learning and growing. I joined because I wanted to engage in the decision-making process and ensure that the voices of youth are heard and valued at every stage.

How do you see the future of the AU-EU Labs?

The future of the AU-EU Labs is promising, especially with increased youth involvement in shaping its direction. I see this initiative setting an example and encouraging more projects focused on supporting youth-led initiatives. I also envision the AU-EU Labs making funding more accessible, promoting stronger collaboration between the two continents, and ensuring youth are included in policymaking and decision-making processes.
