Andrew Ddembe
Andrew Ddembe is a passionate social justice advocate, entrepreneur, and public speaker from Uganda, dedicated to using technology for social impact. As the founder and CEO of Mobiklinic, Andrew has developed an innovative health technology platform designed to improve last-mile health delivery, making healthcare more accessible to underserved populations.
His entrepreneurial spirit is complemented by his commitment to sustainable development and community empowerment. Andrew is recognised for his ability to integrate digital solutions into health service delivery, bridging access gaps and improving health outcomes for marginalised groups. He is also a public speaker, regularly engaging with diverse audiences to inspire and mobilise youth towards positive change.
In 2024, Andrew was awarded the title of Global Citizen of the Year, a recognition of his impact on health innovation and community leadership. He remains deeply committed to promoting equity and inclusion in health, leveraging technology and entrepreneurship to address complex social challenges.
As a member of the Youth Advisory Board, Andrew brings his experience in health technology, social entrepreneurship, and youth mobilisation to support the vision of the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective, ensuring that digital innovation and community-driven solutions are central to youth empowerment and development.
