Faye Laba
Faye is a 21 year old Senegalese national who joins the Youth Advisory Board for the AU-EU Youth Action Lab programme. Faye is part of the Luttons Contre L’indiscipline AU Senegal (LCIS) an organisation that aims to address climate change through its reforestation campaigns while integrating the most marginalised into their collective throughout Senegal. He is passionate about bringing together youth people as evident in his work. He is part of different associations and youth collectives which has helped him develop a range of skills not limited to; project management, resource mobilisation, communication, diversity and activity coordination.
Faye is excited about being a YAB member because he sees it as a great opportunity to advance his skills in strategy and management while he collaborates with experts and decision-makers on the programme. He looks forward to expanding his network, exposure to diverse perspectives which will enable him to better understand complex challenges and solutions tailored to the needs of communities and youth. Being part of the YAB will also enhance his leadership, strategic decision-making skills as he offers advisory input into decisions which will impact Youth Action Lab.
