Mabile M. Jöthdít
Mabile M. Jöthdít is a distinguished legal practitioner and human rights advocate from South Sudan, recognised for his work in policy reform, accountable governance, and democratic engagement. With extensive experience in legal practice and advocacy, Mabile is committed to advancing constitutional reforms, policy accountability, and inclusive governance in South Sudan and across Africa.
As the first East African Community Youth Ambassador to South Sudan, Mabile has championed regional integration and youth participation in democratic processes. His work includes serving as an International Election Observer in countries such as South Africa, Liberia, and Kenya, where he has contributed to electoral integrity, stakeholder collaboration, and the development of comprehensive analytical reports.
Through his roles as Program Coordinator at South Sudan Youth Interface and founder of the Africa Diaspora Innovation Forum, Mabile leads initiatives that empower youth and connect African diaspora communities, fostering innovative solutions to societal challenges. He is currently a Youth Advisory Board member of the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective, where he assesses programme impact on local communities and provides strategic advice for future initiatives.
Mabile’s advocacy focuses on amplifying youth voices in peacebuilding, climate action, policy reform, and socio-economic development. His broad experience in legal, electoral, and policy sectors makes him a valuable contributor to the Youth Advisory Board, supporting the mission of fostering youth-responsive, transparent, and accountable governance across Africa and Europe.
