Moulda Fourissou Samira

Moulda Fourissou Samira is a passionate and accomplished young leader from Cameroon, aged 24. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Sociology and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, specialising in professional practice. Alongside her studies, Samira gained over two and a half years of professional experience, working as a Brand Ambassador, commercial agent, and office secretary for four different companies. She recently completed an internship as a Human Resources Assistant and is actively seeking new professional opportunities.

Samira’s leadership journey extends beyond her professional life; she was elected class delegate during her master’s programme and contributed to her university’s communications club. Multilingual, she is fluent in French, Fulfuldé, and Choa Arabic, with a working knowledge of English. Her passion for community engagement is demonstrated through her role as founder and President of the Association des Jeunes Dynamiques et Engagés au Service du Développement (DJADES), which undertakes environmental protection activities and supports orphans through donations and social assistance.

As a fervent advocate for the rights of women and children, Samira plans to expand DJADES’s reach to empower these groups further. Her humanitarian interests and drive to create a more inclusive world have led her to join the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective. Through this initiative, she is committed to supporting diversity, well-being, and protection for all while harnessing the transformative power of youth-driven change at both the local and continental levels.
