Natalie Gwatirisa

Natalie Gwatirisa is a prominent climate advocate and youth activist from Zimbabwe, recognised for her leadership in climate empowerment, democracy, and social justice. As Co-founder of the Global Impact Initiative, formerly All For Climate Action, Natalie focuses on promoting inclusive climate action, participatory democracy, and sustainability at local and international levels.

She has undergone training as a Climate Negotiator with UNICEF and the Climate Young Negotiation Program, participating in UNFCCC processes as a young negotiator for the past three years. Natalie sits on the AU-EU Youth Advisory Board, contributing to advocacy and policy-making for youth engagement across Africa and Europe.

Natalie’s experience includes serving as a member of the Global Youth Collective with Amnesty International, empowering young people in human rights advocacy and working gaining a experience as a Youth and Activism Officer for Amnesty International Zimbabwe for a short time. As a communal frontline worker with Accountability Lab, she fosters community engagement and good governance, and she has enhanced her expertise through participation in the Accountability Incubator programme (2024).

On the Youth Advisory Board, she brings her extensive experience, leadership, and dedication to the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective, amplifying youth voices in climate justice and policy reform.
