The objective of the AU-EU Youth Action Lab is create joint African-European youth-led cooperation activities that pursue long term impact and positive change. These should be supported by the award of small grants to innovative ideas in coordination with pilot dialogue and engagement mechanisms led by young people.

Types of grants:

Target groups: Young people and youth-led formal and informal CSOs, groups, social movements and enterprises.

Innovation grants:

32 grants with budget
30,000 – 50,000 EUR
(Oxfam lead)

Entrepreneurship grants:

20 grants with budget
30,000 – 50,000 EUR
(Oxfam lead)

Representation grants:

40 grants:
10 small (5,ooo EUR),
10 medium (10,000 EUR) and
20 large (20,000 EUR)
(Restless Dev lead)

Cooperation Grants:

18 grants with a budget of
50,000 EUR
(YFJ lead)
